The Institute for Contemporary Art, located at 336 West Fourth Street in Cincinnati, draws inspiration from Albers' Homage to the Square. The floor plan features overlapping squares that define key areas: the front holds the elevator and restrooms, and the back contains fire stairs. The central spaces house the staircase and double-height areas, with two projected spaces for exhibitions and artist studios. Material contrasts include colorful wood flooring and sandstone cladding in the overlapping zones.
